Lowther PM3A

The PM3A was part of the Lowther TP1 reproducer and was never sold as an individual drive unit. It is based on the PM2A, but is unusual as the rear of the unit is encased in an aluminium housing. It also features the full Lowther stabiliser which termintes in a hemisphere. The specification of the PM3A is as follows:

Flux density: 21,000 gauss

Impedance: 15ohms

Frequency range: 20Hz - 22,000Hz

Power handling: 6 watts

Total flux: 281,000 Maxwells

Weight: 10Kg

Lowther PM3/5A

The PM3/5A is an improved version of the PM3A with a gap flux of 23,200 gauss.
